Is your setup ready?

Use these checks after installation. Each one tells you what to expect and where to go if something is missing.

First finish the installation guide, then close and reopen your terminal and Claude Code.

1. Check Node.js

Run this in your terminal:

Terminal
node -v

You should see a version beginning with v. MindrianOS requires Node.js 22.18 or newer. If the command is missing or the version is older, return to the Node.js installation step.

On Windows, see PATH troubleshooting if the command is still missing after installation.

2. Check Claude Code

Terminal
claude --version

You should see a Claude Code version. If your terminal cannot find the command, complete the Claude Code installation step and reopen the terminal. This confirms the command is available; it does not verify your account or a remote connection.

3. Check the MindrianOS entry point

Open Claude Code in the folder where you intend to work. Type /mos:ignite in its command input and check that the installed command is recognized.

Ready to begin a DataRoom?

Running /mos:ignite starts guided setup and can create files in your project. Continue when you are ready to work in that folder. Review the setup prompts before proceeding.

If the command is missing, restart Claude Code after installation. If it remains unavailable, use the marketplace troubleshooting guide. Keep the exact error text to identify which step failed.

What these checks establish

Node.js and Claude Code are available, and Claude Code recognizes the MindrianOS entry point. The next guide walks through your first DataRoom. These checks do not establish that every integration is connected or that you have reached a useful first outcome.
