/mos:discover

Work through a discovery conversation to build a DataRoom and a discovery brief.

Infrastructure

When to use it

Reach for this when you need to set up, navigate, or maintain. Under the hood it runs Jobs to Be Done (JTBD).

This is a reference snapshot, not a recording of a completed run. Check the installed command’s help before using it on your project.

How to use it

Type it inside Claude Code:

Command
/mos:discover [client|product]

The syntax above includes the argument hint [client|product]. Angle brackets identify a value to supply; square brackets indicate an optional part. Replace placeholders with the values your task needs.

What to check

Review the proposed operation before approving it. A command’s purpose does not prove it completed successfully.

The reference records room/problem-definition/discovery-brief/* as its output location. After running, inspect the actual result and its sources before relying on it.

Stuck at any point?

These help you anytime: /mos:help shows what each command does, /mos:act runs the suggested next method, and /mos:suggest-next ranks what to do next. Review the suggested action before proceeding.
